AI as intergenerational superglue
AI is usually framed as a force that replaces people, accelerates layoffs, or deepens divides, especially between generations. In practice, the real question is not what AI can do, but how we choose to work with it.
This talk explores AI as a social technology: a shared interface that helps senior experts and younger talents collaborate more effectively. When senior experience sets direction and judgment, younger talents orchestrate AI-driven execution, and agentic AI captures and accelerates collective intelligence, something unexpected happens: the gap narrows.
Drawing from real intergenerational working models, we show how AI can turn intuition into structure, speed into meaning, and learning into delivery. Not as a promise of the future, but as a concrete way to redesign collaboration, power dynamics, and value creation in DevOps teams and beyond.
